VGField is designed as a local-first application. Core business records are stored on your device unless you intentionally export, back up, or share them.
1. Information you provide
The app may store business profile information, customer records, jobs, inventory, estimates, invoices, receipts, notes and related attachments you choose to add. These records are used to provide the app’s functions.
2. Where your data is stored
Core app data is stored locally on your device. VGField does not currently provide cloud synchronization. Exported files and backups go only to the destination you select. Removing the app or losing the device may remove local data unless you created a backup.
3. Payments and subscriptions
Subscription purchases will be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. VGField does not receive or store your full payment-card details. The applicable store may provide subscription status, transaction identifiers and country information needed to validate access.
4. Device permissions
Depending on features you use, VGField may request access to files, camera, photos, microphone, contacts, notifications or sharing functions. Access is requested only when needed for the feature and can be changed in device settings.
5. Sharing and exports
When you create or share PDFs, spreadsheets, backups or messages, you choose the receiving app or person. Review documents before sharing because they may contain personal or business information.
6. Analytics and diagnostics
Future store releases may collect limited crash or performance diagnostics to improve reliability. Any analytics introduced will be disclosed here and configured to minimize personal data.
7. Sale of personal data
VGField does not sell personal data. We do not use customer business records for advertising.
8. Retention and deletion
You control local records through the app’s delete, backup and restore functions. Store transaction records may be retained by Apple or Google under their own policies. To request deletion of support correspondence, contact us.
9. Children
VGField is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
10. International users
VGField is initially intended for the United States and Canada. You remain responsible for complying with local recordkeeping, tax, invoice and privacy rules that apply to your business.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as features or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated on this page.
